The Bold Hotel in Southport

We ask guests to be comfortable and have a smart casual attire. This is because it will be warmer in the summer months so we would like our guests to be able to enjoy the evening. - The only thing we ask is please leave the white dresses and flip-flops at home!

We understand that many of our family and friends have children and therefore have chosen to be able to warmly invite them to our event. We unfortunately will not be providing activities for children as this is a formal event. Please be aware adults will be consuming alcohol. If you would like to bring your children with you, please let us know incase high chairs are needed and we can include them in our guest totals.

We would like to order dinner for our guests at 6.30pm. We ask if guests can arrive promptly so that we don’t delay the caterers providing food on the day. We may make some arrangements to meet up with family members before attending the establishment. We are still in the planning stages at the moment, so as plans become finalised we will update guests closer to the event.

There is no limitation to how long you may want to stay! We welcome all guests for a feast, but we are open to options for attending other local establishments after dinner. There are many local bars and pubs around town centre, so if you want to continue celebrating then we warmly welcome you to do so! As this is a time to get to know the friends and family of the couple. Please feel no obligation - we totally understand if you’d prefer to enjoy a comfy nap after some delicious food!

This is ok! We will be including a menu which the venue provides so you can decide if anything takes your fancy in advance! If you have any specific dietary requirements please contact us so we can ensure the venue knows in advance for you. We are happy to raise any concerns with the venue before you attend to make sure you are comfortable when ordering. Alternatively, you can RSVP using this website and add any additional requirements which we should be aware of.

There are several B&B’s, Hotels and Air B&B’s around the Southport area, some of which are dog friendly. We recommend booking these in advance, as Southport can get quite busy with the summer months. There are many accommodation options in the surrounding areas such as Birkdale, Ainsdale, Formby and the other smaller villages nearby. All of which are easily accessible by local transport links if you would like to stay a little further from town. If you would like recommendations regarding accommodations then please get in touch.

No , you are not required to bring a gift. We more then appreciate the time you’re taking out of your own schedules to help us celebrate. If you are considering gifting to the newly weds, then we are very grateful, but it is in no means a requirement!
